eNewsletter 2023 Term 1, Week 10
This Catholic Education Week (May 15–21) – we’re once again keeping it simple – and inviting schools to jump aboard our #LoveMyCatholicSchool campaign.
Catholic Education Week is all about celebrating the excellent teaching and learning that happens in Catholic schools, so this year our focus will be on highlighting all the individual things that make Catholic schools so special.
We’re encouraging schools to share via social media what your community loves about your school using the hashtag #LoveMyCatholicSchool.
Campaign details can be found in the Catholic Education Week Information Kit and all resources can be downloaded from the Communications & Marketing SharePoint site.
#LoveMyCatholicSchool corflute hearts were distributed at our recent conference and Liz Keogh is distributing some to regional schools. If you do not yet have hearts, please contact Deanna Bator Deanna.Bator@cesa.catholic.edu.au to arrange collection.

Catholic Education SA will have a stand at the Pregnancy Babies and Children’s Expo at the Adelaide Showground on April 15 & 16.
The PBC Expo is Australia's largest and longest running pregnancy and early childhood event, welcoming over 8,000 people through its doors in Adelaide over 2 days each year.
Our attendance at the Expo gives an opportunity to promote the benefits and options for a Catholic Education in SA to prospective families, new and soon-to-be parents.
Feel free to share our Facebook posts about the Expo in the lead up to the event to encourage Expo attendance.
A Charter for Parents in SA Catholic Schools has been developed by Catholic School Parents SA.
Approved by the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools after extensive stakeholder consultation, the Charter serves to assist schools in guiding parents towards appropriate conduct in their school community. Intended to complement the Terms of Enrolment, it provides principles and expectations for schools and parents to achieve a positive partnership.
Schools can display the Charter in offices and school website upon discussion with your Leadership team. Any reference to the previous Parent Federation Charter should be removed.
Any enquires to Catholic School Parents SA should be directed to katie.deleo@cspsa.catholic.edu.au.
