Dates for Catholic Education Week and Catholic Schools Open Week in 2024 have been finalised. Please note for your planning:
- Catholic Education Week
Term 2, Week 3 – Monday May 13 to Sunday May 19 2024
Education Week has a focus on “education” and celebrating quality teaching and learning in our Catholic Schools. Education Week includes our awards.
The Catholic Education Awards South Australia 2024 ceremony will be held on Thursday May 16.
- Catholic Schools Open Week
Term 3, Week 5 – Monday August 19 to Sunday August 25 2024
Open Week has a focus on “open days” and events. Schools will, once again, have the opportunity to leverage off of our advertising campaign.
‘Ideas and Inspo – Handy Tools and Tricks’
We all have that one handy tool or trick that makes our marketing job so much quicker or easier.
Let’s get together to share the software, app, website or platform you couldn’t live without!
Each participant will be encouraged to share:
- Ideas – the handiest tool, trick or shortcut you use regularly – bonus points if it’s a FREE tool!
- Inspo – an opportunity to seek advice or ask questions regarding a tool or shortcut for a certain part of your job (website, social media, photography etc)

Helping children and teenagers respond to friendship difficulties and bullying

This free session presented by Madhavi Nawana Parker is intended for all parents and carers of primary and secondary students in Catholic schools. Registration for this in-person and online event is via the CESA Registration Centre.
We're in the process of designing our English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) Strategy and Reference Paper.
This will be closely followed by the Strategy and Reference Papers for both ATSI and Gifted and Talented.
We need your help...! Please send us your best high resolution photos that can be displayed throughout these printed resources. We’re after photos of happy students from all ages and backgrounds engaging in learning and activities that are relevant to these resources.
