After 9 years with Catholic Education SA, Shannon Short, is moving on to a new role at Uniting SA.

UnitingSA is a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on community building with programs across a range of areas including disability, mental health, affordable housing, child development, employment and aged care.

Shannon said “I’m going to miss the broad network of marketing and communications staff across Catholic Education. I believe, together, we have significantly raised the profile of Catholic Education in recent years.”

There will be more information on Shannon's replacement in due course.  Her last day in the office is Thursday July 18.  Shannon encourages anyone who wishes to stay in contact to connect via LinkedIn.

It's our pleasure to welcome Janelle Zajaczkowski to a newly created role in the Communications and Marketing Team.

Janelle has been with us for the past year working with St Catherine’s School and St Joseph’s School Tranmere.  You may have met her at our recent Marketing Conference or if you have participated in any PD sessions over the last 12 months.  Janelle’s role focuses on providing communications and marketing support to our Catholic schools and the brand and marketing functions of Catholic Education South Australia.   

Janelle’s hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm.

• The Australian Catholic Communications Congress (Sydney, August 28-30) returns this year after a 6 year break.

Catholic School Parents SA (CSPSA) Stronger Families – A Positive Parenting Conference is taking place on August 31 at Adelaide Zoo – click the link to access the flyer that we would love you to share with your community. The conference has had an excellent response already so we would recommend people sign up soon.
