Catholic Schools Open Week
(Term 3, Week 5 - August 19-25)

We are less than three months away from Catholic Schools Open Week! We have had an amazing turn out to the photoshoots held at the CEO in Thebarton and have a number of photoshoots being planned regionally to ensure all schools have the opportunity to take part in this campaign.

By next Wednesday, June 5 we ask that each school has completed the Open Week booking form, found here: cesa.catholic.edu.au/openweek24 to ensure that we have all of your school’s campaign requirements.

There is still time to book outdoor advertising with oOh! Media. The deadline is next Wednesday, June 5. Email Sarah Ibbotson if you require any additional information: Sarah.Ibbotson@oohmedia.com.au

Is your school running a unique event during Catholic Schools Open Week? New for 2024, we are looking for a selection of events to profile in the Advertiser Magazine. Communications and Marketing Networking Session
(Term 2, Week 7 - Wednesday June 12, 9:30-11:00am)

Topic - Event Marketing | Connect and engage with your community!

Each term we host a networking session for the Communication and Marketing contacts at schools. This term’s session will be online, and we will be discussing Event Marketing and how it can be incorporated into your marketing strategy to elevate your school’s brand and increase community engagement.  Join us online to hear some schools share their recent events and event planning journey, including event objectives, goals, promotion, and evaluation.

Come prepared to share either an event you have held, event ideas, any tips, or tricks you have learnt along the way and/or any questions if you are considering a future event.  This could be a ‘Come and Try’ day, a community event, an information night, launch event, or milestone celebration.

This session will enable us to connect, share and inspire each other in ways to elevate our event marketing.  Make yourself a coffee or tea and join us online on Wednesday morning June 12 at 9:30am.

The most up to date photo consent form and collection notices for parents and students, employment applications and contractors are now available on CESA Share in the following folder: Privacy (CESA Share / Information Management / Privacy). A copy of the 2023 NCEC Privacy Compliancy Manual can also be found here.

Catholic Education Week

We wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all the schools for your support and participation in Catholic Education Week. It was so uplifting seeing all the smiling faces posted on social media and to read the many reasons why students, staff and community members love our Catholic schools. Hopefully this week helped strengthen community bonds and has given those working in a Catholic school an acknowledgement of the excellent teaching and pastoral care provided daily.
