Jubilarian Celebrations in the Diocese of Port Pirie

Catholic Education Week in the Diocese of Port Pire began in a very special way on Friday 13 May. Our Diocesan Jubilarian celebrations for 2016 took place in Port Pirie where 23 staff from across the Cathedral Region (including St Barbara’s, Roxby Downs and Samaritan College, Whyalla) were acknowledged for their significant contributions to Catholic Education for over 25 years of service. The evening began with a Celebration of the Eucharist in the Cathedral and was followed by the Jubilarian Dinner and presentation evening at the Virtus Soccer Club. The Peter Cibich Tribute to Catholic Education was delivered by Ms. Pauline Connelly. Congratulations and best wishes were extended to all Jubilarians for their commitment and devoted service to Catholic Education.
