Kildare College students have hit the headlines again, this time on the ABC’s BTN (Behind The News), where they tell us about their book ’Generations of Service’. The students tell us how they researched the family stories of 8 Indigenous service men and women who have served Australia in war or other conflict.
Last week these same students were inspired to be involved at the Indigenous Veterans Ceremony as part of a Reconciliation Week gathering in Adelaide. Follow the link to the BTN clip.
Intergenerational playgroups are truly something special — an experience that enriches the lives of both the young and the older members of our community. These playgroups are more than just a space for children to play; they are a vital platform for different generations to come together, share wisdom, and build meaningful relationships.
