This is Child Protection Week. Schools will focus on their community, their child protection policies and programs that empower children and engage adults in creating a safe environment for all.
On Monday Centacare hosted a morning tea with the theme ‘Children are our Treasures’ at Mary McKillop Plaza, where students from St Mary's Memorial School, Glenelg shared their theories and visual representations of treasures.
The week culminates in Child Protection Week Mass on Sunday with parishes renewing their commitment to a safe environment for all.
Twenty students from Catholic schools in South Australia have been named among the winners in two major state-wide Humanities competitions.
Earlier this year, senior school students from across South Australia were invited to enter the 2024 Premier’s Anzac Spirit School Prize and the Muriel Matters Awards.
