All Saints celebrates All Saints all week!

The Feast of All Saints holds a very special place in the hearts of the staff, children and community of All Saints Catholic Primary School at Seaford. As the only Catholic school in the state with the name All Saints, it is a day where the community come together to celebrate who they are.

The day begins with Mass on 1 November, celebrated by Fr Charles Gauci, Parish priest and Dean of the Southern Deanery. This year has been extra special for All Saints as it decided to have a whole week celebrating what it is to be All Saints.

The week started with an assembly, which highlighted all the wonderful things that have happened during the year that have built the Catholic identity and culture of the school.

Acting Assistant Principal: Religious Identity and Mission, Nick Wright commented, “We, as a school community, are constantly looking to connect with our Catholic identity. It is really important as a Catholic school that our connections to each other and the community are continually strengthened so that we can carry out the evangelising mission of the Church,” he said.

The school has a number of other activities planned for this week, culminating in an excursion to the beach on Friday, where the children will connect with the local environment and enjoy the spirit of what it is to be All Saints.
