Tree bears much fruit

At a special liturgy, the outgoing Senior Leaders at St Joseph's School, Port Lincoln, handed over school symbols to the new leaders and invited them to be the new stewards of the school.

• the School Candle - to remind them of the presence and light of Christ
•  the School Banner - to encourage them to live by the school motto: "In all things love"
•  the Crucifix - to remember to act as Christian servant leaders.

The Year 11s presented the Year 12s with a tree which was then blessed and planted after the liturgy, as a reminder to the school community of the gifts of the Class of 2016.

Congratulations to new School Captains: Kaidy and Sean and Vice-Captains: Hannah, Elsie, James and Tom. They are called to lead the school and community with a sense of justice and promote the school’s Josephite values.
