Gifted students workshop

Inclusive Learning for gifted students is the topic of a special Gifted Awareness Week 2019 session being held at St Pius X School this month.

Lesley Henderson, a lecturer in education at Flinders university and president of the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented will talk about the importance of making gifted students feel a sense of belonging and community in the classroom, in order for them to learn and grow.

The event is being presented by the Gifted and Talented Children's Association SA and Catholic Education SA.

The session will be held at St Pius X, Windsor Gardens on March 21 from 4-5 and it is aimed at parents and teachers.

Members of the public can buy tickets for $25 from www.eventbrite.com.au
School Staff within Catholic Education South Australia can attend for free.
