Old scholars in moving Fringe Festival show

2019 graduates from Kildare College, Holden Hill are performing a show in this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Last year, the Year 12 Drama class performed “Snapshots from Home” as their major assessment piece. This year, they have come together again and are re-creating this performance as part of the Fringe Festival.

This is an exciting opportunity for these old scholars to continue their engagement with the performing arts and be part of the largest open access arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere.

The cast have been working hard to recreate the emotion, energy and mood of their 2019 performance and are looking forward to the chance to perform again for the community.

The show is a moving, humorous and thought-provoking portrayal of the experiences of those who remained at home during World War 2. They are mothers, wives, sisters, children, ones who have served and those who are on their way. They picked up the tools, and the pieces, as thousands of young men answered the call to action. This is their story, in their words.

Performance Dates

Saturday February 22nd at 6.30pm
Sunday February 23rd at 7pm
Thursday February 27th at 7pm
Friday February 28th at 7pm

Tickets are available through Fringetix or at the door.
