We understand that parents will have many questions about the changes to the 2022 school year announced by the Premier on January 13.
We also know that everyone’s situation is different:
Unprecedented times call for an unprecedented response. We haven’t been in this position before and we will all be feeling a range of emotions. We can, however, choose to respond to each other with respect and kindness.
Two things are certain.
No child who needs care will be turned away from our schools. If a child is in a year level undertaking remote learning and that parent needs to work or is unable to support their child at home – they will be able to attend school and do their online learning under supervision.
Greater detail around the specific COVID safe protocols that will be in place for the return to school will be provided in the days ahead.
You can expect further information to come to you direct from your school. Your principal will provide you with more specific details about how your school will deliver learning and support for your child.

The South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools and Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) will complete 27 capital development school projects in 2021.
A further 17 projects are underway and set for completion in 2022 and beyond. Several other projects are due to start next year.
The works are part of CESA’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities to meet the requirements of today’s teaching and learning.
