Compass Catholic Community, a fee-free school for 17 to 24 year-olds in Davoren Park, is offering a chance to find out firsthand what it’s like to be a part of their school community.
The ‘Compass Immersion Day’ has been introduced in 2023 as part of Catholic Schools Open Week, providing an opportunity for future students and referral partners to experience ‘A Day in the Life’ of a young person at Compass.
The Immersion Day is designed for young people who are interested in enrolling at Compass for the start of the 2024 school year or referral partners who want to gain a greater understanding of how they do things differently at Compass, to help support them when connecting young people with the school community.
The Immersion Day will help participants gain an understanding of the type of learning a young person can explore through Compass’ flexible and alternative education program, whilst experiencing their safe, welcoming, and supportive community in action.

Join the Compass team for an information session as part of Catholic Schools Open Week.
Compass Info Sessions are designed for all potential students, parents, caregivers, local residents, youth engagement workers and broader members of the community who would like to know more about Compass.
The Compass Info Session will provide an opportunity for you to explore Compass’ facilities and ask questions directly to the Compass Leadership Team.
