Role Details

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Communications & Marketing professional to create and implement effective marketing strategies to retain and attract new enrolments for our schools. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team and school leaders on a variety of marketing activities and provide strategic support.

This position involves on-site work at our schools in Stirling and Tranmere four days a week, with one day dedicated to connecting with the broader Marketing & Communications Team at our Thebarton Corporate Office. This position is a 12-month fixed term contract. 

You will:

  • Create and implement an effective marketing strategy to increase enrolments.
  • Provide comprehensive marketing and communications support to both schools and Catholic Education SA team.
  • Shape and enhance the branding of our schools
  • Execute a variety of marketing duties to support the needs of the school.
  • Administer the schools’ social media accounts and websites to boost profiles and community engagement.
  • Coordinate with external providers to develop professional marketing and promotional materials.
  • Assist with the organising of marketing events and activities as required.
  • Support system-wide marketing strategies and activities.
  • Work closely with the Communications Lead to monitor marketing expenditure and review outcomes to optimise tactics.

About You

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a marketing and communications role.
  • Experience in managing online content, planning and implementing social media strategies.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles including brand management and marketing strategy.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to prepare and edit content for various platforms and audiences.
  • A tertiary qualification in public relations, journalism, marketing or related field.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to proofread.
  • Organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel between Adelaide Metro area to visit our schools.
