Role Details

The position of School Secretary is integral to the school community and has a high customer-service focus. The ideal candidate will be a professional and welcoming presence who displays our school values of kindness and respect, will be responsible for the management of school enrolments, general enquiries, first aid and administrative activities associated with the day-to-day running of the school’s administration and front office. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity of the school. 
  • Provide an efficient, professional, and welcoming reception service for staff, students, families, and visitors. 
  • Perform a wide range of general administrative duties and support the Administration Team members as required. 
  • Manage and oversee the student enrolment process. 
  • Demonstrate high-level computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 
  • Knowledge of database applications, including CIVICA and SEQTA, is desirable or a willingness to undertake training. 
  • Manage and administer medication according to student care plans, maintain accurate records, and oversee stock control in the first aid room. Act as a designated First Aid Officer and provide timely first aid assistance for students and staff. 
  • Exhibit strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. 
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
