The Assistant Director will work closely with the OSHC Director to provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children in Before and After School Care, along with Vacation Care.
Applications are invited from persons who are able to fulfil the following criteria:
Provide a safe, harmonious and stimulating environment for students and staff incorporating the Catholic Ethos of our school
Oversee, implement and evaluate the learning framework 'My time our Place' and the National Quality Standards to meet the needs of children in OSHC
Manage the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) assessment process
Monitor, review, evaluate and maintai services against the Quality Improvment plan (QIP)
Train and develop staff in accordance with the QIP policies and procedures and the National Quaity Framework (NQF) standards
Organise staff daily rosters, ensuring at all times adequate supervision and direction is provided for students on placement at the service and volunteers within the service
Report regularly on aspects of the day to day management of the centre, to the OSHC Director as required
Oversee the financial mangement of the OSHC
- regarding program planning (resources required)
- Menu (food to purchase)
Block shifts as well as some split shifts
Required qualifications:
First Aid - HLTAID012
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
RRAHN - Full certification
ACECQA approved qualification
Knowledge of:

MTOP
