Role Details

Applications are invited for the position of Work Health and Safety Coordinator, Education Support Officer at Rosary School, Prospect. The position is part time for 40 weeks each year.

The WHS coordinator's role is the provision of WHS services for the school, including responsibilities for administration of the WHS program developed by Catholic Safety, Health & Welfare. Providing WHS services within the context of the legislative requirements, Self-Insured Employer Performance Standards and the Catholic Church Safety Manual as advised by CSH&WSA and the Principal.

 

  • The essential criteria are:
  • a relevant Certificate III or IV in WHS or equivalent experience in the field
  • - a commitment to support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school

  • - an understanding of WHS legislation, policies and procedures

  • - computer skills utilising databases
