Exciting opportunity has opened for permanent OSHC Director at OLQP!

Are you passionate about working with children and creating an engaging, nurturing environment?

We are seeking a dynamic, child-centered, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the OSHC Director at Our Lady Queen of Peace.

As the OSHC Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Outside School Hours Care program, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and development of children in both before- and after-school care. You will inspire creativity, provide exceptional care, and foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day to day operations of the OSHC program

  • Develop, implement, and evaluation of high quality programs aligned with School Age Care Framework.

  • Lead, support, and mentor a team of educators

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (NQS, WHS and other regulatory requirements)

  • Develop and implement engaging programs for children

  • Build strong relationships with families and the school community

  • Manage administrative duties, including budgeting, staff rosters and record keeping.

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for working with children and understand children's development

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

  • Experience in managing OSHC or similar programs (preferred) including program planning, multitasking and catering for a range of needs

  • Creative, enthusiastic, and committed to providing high-quality care

  • Commitment to the ethos and values of our Catholic school community

Mandatory Requirments:

  • Approved ACECQA Diploma level qualification. (List of approved qualifications at: https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved)

  • Approved Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate

  • First Aid Certificate – HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting

  • Current acceptable Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC)
