Holy Family Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Officer - Curriculum to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and fostering a positive learning environment for students. We are seeking Educators available to work Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm for 41 weeks  each year (during school terms and 1 week prior to start of term 1).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and caring for students with formally identified special needs, following Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL).
• Assist students in small groups and one-on-one settings to support learning across all curriculum areas.
• Assist in maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Provide instruction to students within the learning environment.

Additional Information

About You

• Hold a Certificate II/III/IV or Diploma in Education Support (or equivalent).  Applicants undertaking a tertiary studies are also encouraged to apply.
• Approved Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate
• First Aid Certificate – HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting
• Current acceptable Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching aids and education programs to meet diverse learning needs.
• Be a team player, offering flexibility and willingness to support others.
• Good communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work and interact successfully with children.
