The Opportunity

Are you a creative and energetic marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Engagement Officer to join our vibrant school community!

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Principal and school leaders to develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that attract and retain enrolments. From crafting compelling campaigns to engaging with our community, you’ll play a key role in shaping the school's presence through building effective communications and marketing strategies and storytelling.

You will:

  • Develop and implement marketing activities, including public relations, print, online and other advertising forums to promote the school profile, programs, facilities with the aim of attracting and retaining student enrolments.
  • Shape and enhance the branding of our school.
  • Manage the schools’ social media accounts and websites to boost profiles and community engagement.
  • Undertake an analysis and evaluation of marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns by analysing performance metrics, audience engagement, and key outcomes to inform data-driven strategies for future initiatives.
  • Enhance community engagement with our families and external partnerships with local services and community groups.
  • Coordinate with external providers to develop professional marketing and promotional materials.
  • Develop internal communications, such as contribution to newsletter and articles for the school’s website.
  • Organise marketing events to engage the wider community as required.

 

About You

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a marketing and communications role.
  • Experience in managing online content, planning and implementing social media strategies.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles including brand management and marketing strategy.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to prepare and edit content for various platforms and audiences.
  • A tertiary qualification in marketing or communications related field.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to proofread.
  • Organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop a positive rapport with others and build engaging, credible, trusting and respectful relationships.
