Role Details

Applications are invited for Temporary Relief Teachers to join our pool of relief teachers at Our Lady of La Vang School, a campus of Catholic Special Schools.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in designing and implementing learning programs using one or more of the following: the Australian Curriculum (General Capabilities), ABLES and SACE Modified;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of contemporary inclusive pedagogy, including an understanding of strategies to support challenging behaviours;
  • Proven ability to work in a team which includes other cluster teachers, allied health staff and education support officers;
  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity, spirituality and ethos of the school.

The school is organised in three Clusters, Junior (students aged 5-10 years), Middle (students aged 10-14 years) and Senior (students aged 14-18 years). There are ten classes in the school. The teachers, education support officers and allied health staff work collaboratively within each cluster.
