Role Details

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic & experienced leader to join our new OSHC leadership team in this exciting role. The OSHC Assistant Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the OSHC and ensures high standards of service delivery, cleanliness and operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities

The OSHC Assistant Director will have full knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards assessment and learning frameworks. They will support the Director in ensuring the service complies with the requirements and applies policy direction in day-to-day operations.

About You

We are seeking someone with a genuine desire to work with children who is willing to engage with them in a positive, sensitive, and respectful manner. You will have:

  • Leadership experience in OSHC
  • Completed qualifications to work in a child-related industry as recognised by ACECQA
  • An excellent understanding of the National Quality Framework and experience with My Time Our Place (MTOP) Curriculum
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs
  • A sound understanding of the programming cycle - consolidating student observations, MTOP learning outcomes, individual student needs and links with community
