Role Details

Our Lady of the Visitation School is a Preschool – Year 6 co-educational Catholic School situated in Taperoo on the Lefevre Peninsula.  We are offering multiple Education Support Officer positions for inspired enthusiastic individuals who will flourish in a “hand-on” collaborative environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a strong, committed staff team who are passionate about supporting students to achieve and grow as strong, capable members of the community.

To be considered for these positions you will

• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity of Our Lady of the Visitation School and Preschool.
• Assist and support learning programs with an emphasis on student engagement, skill development, feedback and achievement.
• Demonstrate the ability to assist in the implementation of Personalised Plans for Learning strategies as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues and parents/carers.
• Ideally, but not essential, have experience in working with diverse, capable learners and supporting them in identifying their strengths and areas for growth.

Certificate III in Education Support (or equivalent) and/or relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting students who benefit from extensive or substantial adjustments is highly desirable.
