The Opportunity

All Saints Catholic Primary School is seeking passionate and dedicated Reception Teachers to join our community on a fixed-term contract, commencing Term 3 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support young learners at the beginning of their educational journey in a nurturing and faith-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our teaching team, you will:

  • Foster a love of learning in an engaging and inclusive Reception classroom.
  • Establish routines and structures that promote a productive and stimulating learning environment for early learners.
  • Implement evidence-based teaching strategies to support student growth, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
  • Create a supportive and safe learning environment, with strong classroom management skills.
  • Design and implement age-appropriate learning programs tailored to individual developmental needs, including creating Personalised Plans for Learning as required.
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress using established programs and reporting systems.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a dynamic professional learning community.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to support each child's development.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and in accordance with policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in additional non-instructional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the school community and its operations.

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic educators who:

  • Have a commitment to Catholic Education and are eager to contribute to the school’s spiritual and community life.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of early years education, child development, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Have excellent classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Are strong communicators, able to engage with students, families, and staff effectively.
  • Are open to collaborative teaching and professional learning opportunities.
  • Hold current Teacher’s Registration in Australia, a valid Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), a First Aid Certificate and RRHAN–EC certificate.
