Role Details

We are looking for a part-time finance officer to join our school on a permanent basis. At St Joseph’s School, we are committed to fostering a supportive and vibrant culture where both staff and students can thrive. Permanent part-time position (15 hours per week), where you will:

  • Actively support the Catholic Ethos in a Josephite School
  • Manage the accounts receivables of the school and assist in other financial tasks as required
  • Embrace continual learning and personal development
  • Provide flexible support to team needs
  • Use Microsoft applications and computerised systems confidently
  • Demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data management
  • Collaborate with staff, the school community, and the Parish
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Principal (or delegate)

About You

  • Practical support for St Joseph’s School, with a commitment to its values
  • Understanding of and commitment to WH&S requirements
  • Ability to work closely with the Business Manager and Finance Team to maintain the financial integrity of the school's systems.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain the following:

  • Working with children check (WWCC)
  • First Aid (course code: HLTAID012)
  • Respond to Risk, Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Fundamentals & Master Class certificate

Successful candidate will be required to undergo Catholic Education South Australia screening process.
