About the Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the School and System Improvement team within the School Quality and Performance department at Catholic Education South Australia (CESA). This is a dynamic role where you can make impact in supporting educational improvement. You'll be the main point of contact for schools and external parties on a variety of matters and ensure efficient office operations.

This is a permanent, 0.8-1.0 FTE position. 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for schools, external providers, and team members, handling inquiries and coordinating support requests.
  • Managing electronic filing systems, ensuring the accurate organisation of School and System Improvement files and resources.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including financial administration, reporting, and event coordination.
  • Regularly review and refine administrative processes, contributing to continuous
  • Provide support for meetings, including taking and distributing minutes, preparing agendas, and coordinating logistics.

 

About You: 

You’ll be a great fit within the Administration Officer role if you have excellent organisational and planning skills, high attention to details, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.  

You’ll need: 

  •  Experience in providing a broad range of administrative support.
  • Superior level of competency with Microsoft office suite, general office applications, databases and SharePoint.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to work under pressure, management of competing priorities, attentional to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with minimal direction.
  • Proven ability to analyse, plan, identify and utilise skills and knowledge in depth to effectively apply solutions to a range of challenges.

The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RHAN.
