How to Apply

In applying for this position applicants are invited to submit the following:

  1. A cover letter of no more than one page which briefly outlines your experience.
  2. A resume which includes your employment history and the names and contact details (including phone numbers) of up to 3 referees.  At least two of your referees must be able to talk about your work in a primary school environment.  Please include your current Principal.
  3. A brief (maximum of 2 pages) professional statement which provides information to the panel about the following:
  • Your teaching philosophy and the practices that you adopt within a primary school environment:  this could include your beliefs about what makes a good learning environment; how children learn best and what teaching pedagogies, programs or processes you adopt in your classroom to support this learning.
  • Your passions, strengths, and skills and how you might be able to use these to contribute to the Catherine McAuley School community.
  • Any additional  training, knowledge of intervention programs you have undertaken.
