Gleeson College is excited to invite applications from suitably qualified professionals for the parttime (0.80FTE) contracted position of English/ HaSS and Religious Education Teacher, commencing in April 2025. Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their: 

  • Ability to teach Middle School English, HaSS and Religious Education. The ability to teach Religious Education at Senior School level would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and families and the wider educational community.
  • Commitment to supporting and representing the ethos of our Catholic College as outlined in the Gleeson 10 and the Gleeson Staff 5.

  • A covering letter (no more than one page)
  • A Curriculum Vitae (two to three pages), which includes details of three relevant referees (including Principal if currently working in a school)
  • Certificate of Teacher Registration
  • Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) certificate
  • HLTAID012 Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting certificate
  • Clearance to work in Catholic Education and Current DCSI/Working with Children Check/Catholic Police Check
  • A completed CESA Employment Declaration Form
