Role Details

YEARS 7-12 STUDENT COUNSELLOR

This is a permanent position, commencing as soon as possible. 

Hours 8:00am to 4:00pm (number of days per week negotiable)
45 weeks of the year - school term time, plus 1 additional week at the start and end of the year and 1 week per term break

Annual full time equliavent salary range $104,369 to $116,160.

The 7-12 Student Counsellor at Nazareth Catholic provides confidential pastoral care, support and professional advice to students in Years 7-12 at Nazareth. 

The 7-12 Student Counsellor works with students, their families and staff in providing effective mental health initiatives with a focus on enhancing the psychological well-being of all. The counsellor’s role involves crisis intervention, through which significant value can be added to the life of students, parents and staff at Nazareth.
