We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Canteen Coordinator to run and operate our canteen.
The Canteen Coordinator works under the general supervision of the Business Manager (or delegate) and is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and carrying out a range of tasks and activities to effectively operate the school canteen, ensuring compliance with Health, Hygiene, and Work Health & Safety requirements.

The successful applicant will be a valued member of St Thomas School and Preschool staff and community.
The position is offered as an initial temporary contract for 12 months with a view to permanency.
School Canteen experience is preferable but not essential.
The role will be for 5 hours per day (either 3 or 4 days per week negotiable with the successful applicant and 41 weeks per year – during school terms).
Salary $37.53 to $40.01 per hour (ESO Services Grade 3)
The successful applicant will be required to have a current acceptable Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance & screening to work in Catholic Education South Australia and hold current certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect in Education and Care Settings.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake/or have undertaken Food Safety Supervisor Training.
