Role Details

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an emerging or experienced leader to join the team at St Joseph’s School, Hectorville as our Acting APRIM: Assistant Principal Religious Identity and Mission for 7 weeks.

The APRIM supports the Principal’s primary religious leadership role and is a member of the school Executive Leadership team.

  • APRIM 0.8FTE
  • Teaching 0.2FTE (negotiable for successful candidate)
  • Term 2, Week 7 – 10 and Term 3, Week 1 – 3 inclusive

Key Responsibilities

The Acting APRIM promotes the mission of the Catholic Church and provides leadership in prayer, liturgy and other religious celebrations. They will continue contribution to the development of quality teaching and learning in the religious domain and foster quality relationships between the school and the Parish.

About You

We are seeking someone with a genuine desire to work with children and staff in the development of, or invitation to faith. You will be:

  • A Catholic who is an active member of a Catholic Sunday Eucharistic community.
  • A skilled educator and committed learner.
  • Strongly committed to the development of the religious dimension of our school.
