Role Details

• Demonstrate a commitment to the vision of St Patrick’s Special School and a willingness to incorporate the ethos of the school into all aspects of their work
• Provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to the school including intervention, and consultation within a Multidisciplinary team.
• Collaboratively build the capacity of teachers and school communities to meet the needs of students with disabilities
• Contribute and actively participate in relevant team-based processes and projects
• Engage in continuing education and professional development in Education and Occupational Therapy
• Work in partnership with teachers, families and other therapists to integrate strategies and plans to support students
• Experience in delivering multi-levelled occupational therapy interventions in a school-based setting and developing capacity through coaching.

Additional Information

The successful applicant will be required to undergo our screening processes and hold a current Working with Children Check and have completed or be willing to complete the 7 hour Responding to Risk Harm Abuse and Neglect training (RRHAN) and First Aid.
