Role Details

St Gabriel’s School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our community on a fixed-term contract to teach our Gabby’s Angels Transition to school program.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support young learners and their families in preparation for each child's school start.  This is a play based transition to school program which fosters a strong sense of belonging and wellbeing in the St Gabriel's School community.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our teaching team, you will:

• Foster a love of learning in an engaging and inclusive classroom.
• Establish routines and structures that promote a safe, productive and stimulating learning environment for early learners.
• Implement evidence-based teaching strategies to support student academic growth and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a dynamic professional learning community.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to support each child's development.
• Provide a balanced and engaging program relevant to the needs of the students

About You

• Demonstrates a deep understanding of early years education, child development and evidence-informed practices
• Has excellent classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

• Is vibrant, nurturing, and passionate about early learning.
