Director of People & Culture
We seek applications from experienced candidates, with a start date ASAP or by negotiation. This permanent full-time position comes with an attractive remuneration package based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Applicants will need to:
- Demonstrate the ability and passion to promote, develop and drive a robust People & Culture workforce.
- Bring expertise in managing strategic and operational HR functions, including compliance, recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and performance management.
- Display exceptional leadership qualities and relevant qualifications to build positive partnerships and effectively manage people.
- Actively support and contribute to the Catholic Identity and Edmund Rice Tradition.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
- Expertise and Practical Experience: Proven ability to manage strategic and operational human resources activities.
- Human Resources Proficiency: Comprehensive skills and experience across all human resources functions, including managing complex matters and applying contemporary practices and statutory requirements.
- Enterprise Agreements and Unions: Experience in working with enterprise agreements and unions is highly desirable.
- Independent Judgement: Significant and independent professional judgement, demonstrating advanced expertise and substantial autonomy.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to interact positively across the school community, including excellent written and verbal communication skills to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Program Implementation: Experience in developing, leading, implementing, and embedding programs and initiatives to achieve positive staff engagement and required outcomes.
- Change Leadership: Ability to effectively lead change and consultation processes, coaching and influencing others to adapt to change.
