St Columba College is seeking to appoint an experienced Diverse Learning Support Officer.
Applicants with qualifications in Education Support or experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
The Diverse Learning Support Officers will have the following duties:
Assist teachers with the care of students on excursions, sports days/activities and other classroom associated school/educational activities.
Assist in student learning by creating and sourcing resources, preparing classroom materials, class displays and aids for learning programs.
Participating in regular program planning and review meetings as required.
Assist teachers with the implementation of learning programs such as EAL support, Literacy and Numeracy support, Gifted and Talented programs etc.
Assist with communication between students and teachers.
Assist with physical requirements of students.
