Position 1: 1.0FTE Mid-Year Reception

Positon 2: 0.4FTE Mid-Year Reception

This is an exciting opportunity for a relational and nurturing Early Years Teacher to assist in maintaining high quality and contemporary learning programs to meet the needs of new Reception students. This position allows for excellent teaching outcomes.

The successful applicant will:

• Actively support and contribute to Catholic Identity and faith formation at Our Lady of the Visitation School and Pre School.
• Provide a nurturing and welcoming learning environment that teaches and supports student wellbeing including transition to school, personal responsibility, resilience and independence.
• Demonstrate a commitment to implementing teaching pedagogies and practices which are contemporary, inclusive, innovative and evidence based.
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to differentiate teaching and classroom practices in order to support learners with varying academic, social and emotional needs.
• Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with staff, students and families.

If the successful applicant is available, they will have the opportunity to be an important part of the transition program throughout Term 2.
