The Opportunity:
We are seeking applications from passionate and dedicated teaching professionals for a 1.0 FTE contract, starting Monday, 12 May 2025 and concluding on Friday, 12 December 2025 teaching a Year 2 class.
About you:
The successful candidate will support and contribute to the Catholic identity of our school in the Josephite Tradition. They will understand the importance of evidence-based practices and how to implement a diverse learning program. They will be able to design inclusive learning programs that meet the specific needs of all learners and demonstrate a contemporary understanding of the Australian Curriculum and creatively plan, implement and assess differentiated learning programs. They will also demonstrate proven learning behaviour management strategies which ensure a safe, orderly and successful learning environment.

Saint David's Parish School is a co-educational, Catholic primary school for children from Reception to Year 6, located in Tea Tree Gully. The strength of our school lies in the strong focus on curriculum, student wellbeing and its sense of community. Students at our school are taught literacy and numeracy using evidence-based methods to ensure all students succeed. When teaching new concepts, teachers use Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI). EDI is a research-based approach for creating and delivering well designed and well taught lessons.
The successful applicant will be required to attain and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
