This is an exciting opportunity for a relational and nurturing Early Years Teacher to assist in maintaining high quality and contemporary learning programs to meet the needs of new Reception students. 

The successful applicant will:

• Actively support and contribute to Catholic Identity and faith formation at St Bernadette's.
• Provide a nurturing and welcoming learning environment that teaches and supports student wellbeing including transition to school, personal responsibility and independence.
• Demonstrate a commitment to implementing teaching pedagogies and practices which are contemporary, inclusive and evidence based. Experience in Pre-Lit/InitaLit would be advantageous.
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to differentiate teaching and classroom practices in order to support learners with varying academic, social and emotional needs.
• Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and develop positive relationships with staff, students and families.

The willingness to be part of the transition program throughout Term 2 would be an advantage.
