Role Details

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a strong, committed staff team who are passionate about supporting  children to achieve and grow as strong, capable members of the Antonio OSHC community.

We are seeking an Education Support Officer OSHC Educator who can work in consultation with the OSHC Director and staff to lead OSHC and Vac Care sessions.  

We are seeking an energetic and resourceful staff member who...

  • Holds an approved ACECQA Certificate IV level qualification and/or demonstrated experience in a similar or comparative role.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience planning, implementing and monitoring educational programs.
  • Demonstrates ability working and communicating effectively with students. Experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.
  • Has a willingness to uphold and contribute to the culture and ethos of our Catholic school.
  • Ability to implement positive and supportive behaviour management practices and be a good role model.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to develop a strong positive rapport with students, staff and families and foster effective professional relationships.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision and analyse and plan approaches to apply effective solutions to a range of problems.
  • Is self-motivated, resilient, and able to work productively in a complex environment.
  • Has a high level organisational and time management skills.
  • Has the ability to deal effectively with unexpected situations and/or emergencies.
  • Has an active commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
