Role Details

The ESO will work with and support individual students, and/or small student groups as directed by the Leadership Team, Inclusion and Diversity Coordinator and teachers as well as the following: 

• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity and Dominican charism of Rosary School.
• Deliver and support inclusive learning programs (with individual students and/or small groups) under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Demonstrate a commitment to and enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a learning community and build positive relationships with staff, children and families.
• Experience in working with children with diverse and special needs, this will include, but is not limited to, children with a diagnosis or challenging behaviours.

Hours are negotiable, Monday to Friday, during school terms only.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo e-screening and hold the below checks:

• Working With Children Check
• Full Day (7 hour) Responding to Abuse & Neglect Training or Equivalent
• RRHAN-EC update (where applicable)
• First Aid Training

The closing date is 9am on Monday 28 April 2025 however applications will be reviewed as they are received.  Interviewing and appointment may occur prior to this date.
