Role Details

  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity, mission and Josephite charism of St Joseph’s Memorial School Kensington and Norwood.
  • Design inclusive learning programs as teacher and general classroom teacher with a high emphasis on student engagement, active learning and creativity.
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of contemporary and inclusive pedagogies that promote learning for all students and improve literacy and numeracy outcomes for those students.
  • An excellent understanding of a variety of assessment and reporting strategies and the need to provide effective and timely feedback to students and parents. Knowledge of SEQTA and the Clarity project is useful. 
  • Provide a learning environment to build positive relationships that support students to take responsibility for their learning and well-being, with an emphasis on Restorative Practices.
