The achievements of students with disability in their final year of school have been celebrated at the 2021 Barkuma Transition Program Graduation Ceremony.
The event is the culmination of Barkuma's 12 month program designed to assist final year students with disability and learning difficulties to make the smooth transition from school to future pathways.
The majority of students enrolled in the Program attend Catholic schools.
Congratulations to the eleven Catholic school students who were among 29 to receive commendations in 2021.

Three Year 12 Catholic school students have been awarded a 2021 Student Citizenship Award by the Order of Australia Association, South Australia Branch, for their contribution to citizenship in South Australia. The students were presented to the Governor of South Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC at Government House on November 29.
Congratulations to the very artistic mid-year Reception class at St Joseph’s School, Tranmere for winning the State prize in the CBCA and Royal Australian Mint 2021 Animalia competition.
