A ceremony was held to raise the Australian National, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags at Catholic Education SA's Thebarton offices on Wednesday. Missing from commemorations on-site, until Wednesday, were flagpoles for the purpose of flying these flags on the traditional land of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains.
2016 will mark the 28th Annual Catholic Schools Music Festival, with over 2,000 students representing 80 Catholic Schools. A joyful and fun music focus; creating a vibrant, toe-tapping atmosphere with songs mainly selected from the 1960s, 70s and 80s.

On Sunday May 29, past students and staff joined the current Kildare College community to celebrate a wonderful 50 years of learning at Kildare.

The NCEC, as part of their work in collaboration with state and territory commissions and Catholic School Parents Australia for the “Catholic Schools: Partners in Australia’s Future” campaign, commissioned a series of five videos promoting the work of Catholic schools across the country. The videos have been uploaded to the NCEC’s YouTube channel.
A pop-up prayer space at Immaculate Heart of Mary School at Brompton has helped children to pray in creative and reflective ways.
Twelve CESA schools came together at St Pius X school to participate in the Green-Day out on 20 May as part of Catholic Education Week celebrations. Six students from each of the schools in the north-east of Adelaide enthusiastically participated in an action packed day.
