St Therese Year Seven students are busy working on preparations for their Graduation ceremony and End of Year Mass. It is a time when they reflect on their journey in primary school and prepare themselves for transitioning to secondary school.

In my classroom, after a guided meditation which occurs each Monday morning, students work on their Grace Journals. This day we focused our thoughts on Paris and the events of the terrorist attacks. I played “Everyday God” by Bernadette Farrell and used this imagery to guide our journaling.
The Year 12 Art and Design exhibition was an amazing eclectic mix of creativity. The versatility and skill evident in each and every student's work was truly inspirational, especially when you consider that these works were created while each of these students continued to study and complete work for four other subjects.
Students of German have connected across 276 kms from St Albert's School, Loxton to St John the Baptist School Plympton through music and puppets, experiencing the difference in native speakers from Bavaria and Hamburg.
Cardijn College and Marcellin Technical College will align in 2016 and this news has been received well by both communities. During 2016, Mr Paul Rijken will be Principal of both colleges and will work with the communities to undertake the transitions required. Paul has served the Cardijn community for the past ten years and is looking forward to the opportunities that will emerge.
Nazareth Catholic College Primary students are thrilled to be a part of the Pacific School Games Opening Ceremony on Sunday November 22 at the Adelaide Showgrounds. 20 dance students will join other performing artists, sports people and community groups to perform in the Opening Ceremony, a highlight of the games.
Mrs Joy Bedford, Principal of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College (OLSH), Enfield presented to the international gathering of educators at the Educating for Today and Tomorrow: A Renewing Passion International Conference in Rome this week.Joy was one of 3 international speakers invited to share their school experiences where Catholic identity was richly embedded in complex circumstances. OLSH’s multi faith community contributes to this contemporary understanding and appreciation of Catholic identity.
Twenty one South Australian Catholic schools, and close to 1000 children took part in the South Australian Catholic Primary Schools Sports Association (SACPSSA) Handball Carnival at Cabra College from 19 to 21 October.
Chris Catalano, PE Coordinator at the Nazareth Catholic College Primary campus, received the 2015 South Australia School Ambassador of the Year Award for his dedication to the development of sport at Nazareth.
St Joseph’s School, Port Lincoln has welcomed their new Principal, Dr Sandra Hewson with the whole school gathering in the Church for a very special liturgy. It was a lovely way to celebrate Dr Hewson joining the School family and welcome her to the community. School Captains Millie and Jamie, and Foundation students Alexandra and Marli presented her with a small welcoming gift.
