Our Diocesan Jubilarian celebrations for 2016 took place in Port Pirie where 23 staff from across the Cathedral Region (including St Barbara’s, Roxby Downs and Samaritan College, Whyalla) were acknowledged for their significant contributions to Catholic Education for over 25 years of service.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College received a grant from the Sidney Myer Foundation to build capacity in teachers. This grant enables the school to ensure that teachers are continually improving what they do. The project is called “High quality teaching through peer observation”. The College is working with neighbouring Catholic primary schools as part of the project.
